Prosper Nkomezi was born in 1995 in Rwanda into a Christian household where music was always present. As a child, he found ways to listen to gospel music wherever he could, including hiding a radio inside a broken jar just to hear the songs clearly.
His solo career began in 2017 with Sinzahwema, which instantly became one of the most-played gospel songs in the region. Since then, he has released four studio albums, collaborated with artists like Israel Mbonyi, and built a fanbase spanning the globe — from Rwanda and Burundi to Canada, Belgium, and the United States.
Now, for the first time, Prosper is bringing that sound to America.
